St. Louis Park Alternative High School In keeping with its mission to provide multiple pathways to excellence, St. Louis Park Public Schools serves approximately 35 students at its Alternative High School. Those who complete their credits at the Alternative High School receive a St. Louis Park High School diploma. The St. Louis Park Alternative High School is located at 3431 Dakota Avenue, in a newly-remodeled building just two blocks from the Senior High School. The program offers six classes each day for students in grades 11 and 12. Currently the school has classes in English, science, social studies and math full year. Classes in careers, humanities and personal finance are held on a semester basis. The Alternative High School also manages the district's Independent Study program throughout the year. The Alternative High School also offers three summer school classes each summer for students from both the Alternative and Senior High.
