Wolves eat deer, moose and other animals.

Habits

Wolves like to be with other wolves. These are called packs.

Location (where in the world they are found)

Wolves are found in Canada and the United States.

Home (habitat where you find the bear)

Wolves live in forests and open areas. They like to be close to water and where they can find food.

 

Physical Description (what they look like)

Wolves have gray fur.

They are about 2 or 3 feet tall. They are about 5 feet long.

A wolf, can weigh 80 pounds.

 

Population (The number of bears that are alive)

There are thousands of wolves North America. There are more American black bears than any other type of bear in North America.

 

Fun Facts

  • The wolf can be black and white.
  • In Mexico, wolves are called "lobos."
  • At birth, pups are blind, have no hair and are very tiny.
