Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany.

He died on April 18, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey.

Accomplishments

Albert Einstein is famous because he was the scientist who invented the "theory of relativity."

Young Life and Family
 


Albert was born in Ulm, Germany. Albert was Jewish, but went to a catholic school because it as close by. Albert was not a very good student in school, but was very interested in how things worked.


Einstein graduated from college in 1900. He became a physicist. A physicist is a scientist who studies how things work. In 1915 he came up with the math equation E = mc2. In 1921, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics.

In 1933 he move to America to Princeton, New Jersey, to escape the Nazis in Germany. Adolf Hitler hated Albert. Hitler was head of the Nazis in WWII.

He died in New Jersey while working at Princeton University.
