Albert was born in Ulm, Germany. Albert was Jewish, but went to a catholic school because it as close by. Albert was not a very good student in school, but was very interested in how things worked.
In 1933 he move to America to Princeton, New Jersey, to escape the Nazis in Germany. Adolf Hitler hated Albert. Hitler was head of the Nazis in WWII. He died in New Jersey while working at Princeton University.
