In 1960 he won the Olympic Gold medal for boxing. In 1964, he turned professional. He beat Sonny Liston for the heavyweight championship. Ali was also supporter of civil rights. In 1967 he refused to fight in the war in Vietnam because a religious reasons. His title was taken away. In 1974 he won his title back. He now has Parkinson's disease. (Parkinson's Disease in a disease where you are unable to control some of your muscles. |
