John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts.

He died on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.

Accomplishments
  Kennedy is famous because he was the 35th president of the United States.  
Young Life and Family
  John Kennedy was born into a wealthy family. He had many brothers and sisters.

He was very smart, athletic, and well liked.

He graduated from Harvard University with honors.

Adult Life
 

He was married in 1953.

In World War 2, Kennedy was in the Navy. His ship was destroyed by a Japanese ship. Kennedy and the crew swam several miles to shore. Kennedy saved a hurt crew member's life by carrying him to safety.

Kennedy was the nation's only catholic president.

In 1963 he was shot and killed by Lee Harvy Oswald.
