Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana.
She is still alive.
Britney Spears is famous because she is a singer and film star.
At age four she made her first stage appearance when singing "What Child Is This?"
At age eight she auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. She was too young. At age eleven she finally became part of the club.
On January 12, 1999 her first album was released called "...Baby one more time." In 2000 her second album was released called "Oops! I did it again."
She has now stared in the new movie called "Crossroads."
