Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961.

She died on August 31, 1997.

Accomplishments
 

Diana was Princess of Wales. Wales is a country in Great Britain.

Young Life and Family
 

When Diana was six her parents divorced. She went to live with her father.

Diana went to private boarding schools.

She loved sports and was very good at them. She would win trophies.

Her dream was to be a ballerina. That did not happen because she was too tall.

Adult Life
  Diana worked as a waitress, a cleaning women, and a kindergarten teacher.

In 1981 she married Prince Charles of England. The wedding was viewed by over 750 million people worldwide.

They were divorced in 1992.

In 1997 she was killed in a car accident.
