Cedar Manor Intermediate Center Partners with Target for Sponsorship of Artist in Residency

St. Louis Park, Minnesota November 03, 2006 — Cedar Manor Intermediate Center today announced a partnership with Target for sponsorship of an artist in residency to align with Cedar Manor’s Cultural Diversity Fair in May. The artist, Francis Kofi, from Ghana Africa, would add an interactive international experience to our school’s curriculum. He would encourage students to explore movement and sound in an intimate and hands on manner. Moreover, this will provide a unique genre of multicultural music and dance, promoting global awareness. This experience would offer our students an opportunity for an in-depth inquiry into the unique culture of Ghana. It would be remarkable to share the ambience of the nation with the students of Cedar Manor. The partnership provided $3500.00 for funding.
