Adult Enrichment
Community Education offers classes for adults from any community who want to learn new skills or explore new interest areas that would enrich their lives professionally or personally.

Adult Options in Education
These free, local classes include English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education (for adults who want to acquire or improve their math, reading, grammar or writing skills), Family Learning (for parents who want to learn English while their children under age 7 participate in a fun learning environment) and GED preparation and testing.

NORC Nurturing Our Retired Citizens
Community Education is one of many community partners in the NORC project, whose mission is to enable older adults to stay in their homes and community for as long as they can with the support they need to remain healthy, safe, engaged citizens. NORC is a federal demonstration project funded by the Administration on Aging, dedicated to testing innovative strategies for empowering seniors as they age in their communities.

Senior Program
The Senior Program, housed in Lenox Community Center, is a joint venture between the school district and the city offering a wide range of educational, social, recreational, and travel opportunities for anyone 55 years or older.
