Hematite

 

Most iron comes from hematite. Hematite is used to make steel. Hematite can be gray, reddish, brown, or black. Hematite is very hard and can't be scratched easily. Hematite can be used to make many things that we use everyday like pots and pans. When heated hematite is magnetic.
