About the Partnership...

Since 1996, Susan Lindgren has maintained a business partnership with Nielsen Art Gallery. Lyle Sorenson is the owner of Nielsen Gallery located at 44th and France in Edina and representative in our partnership. The gallery has donated 6 frames in which student art work is placed on a rotating basis and hung throughout the school for all to enjoy.

Nielsen Gallery has also been framing each month, free of charge, as many as 3 students's art pieces, selected by the art teacher at Susan Lindgren. The art is deplayed in the gallery for that month and then given to the student.

Mr. Sorenson believes that art by students should be showcased and celebrated whenever possible.

Serving as a resource speaker for the school and helping to recruit local artists to be serve as resource speakers or mentors is also an important benefit Mr. Sorenson brings to Susan Lindgren students.
