The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools voted to make changes to the District’s Safe Learning Plan at its Monday, November 9 meeting. The changes include a move to distance learning for Middle School and High School students on November 16, and a change to distance learning for early learning and elementary students on November 23.
As the District begins to transition back to the distance learning model, free meals will continue to be available to students and families. The District will continue to utilize the six school sites as grab-and-go pickup locations on Mondays and Wednesdays between 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
A new Elementary Family Handbook has been published and is now available on each of the four elementary school websites under both the Parent Resources tab and the Find it Fast section. The handbook includes important contact information, quick facts about each school, and important school board policies that impact students and families.

The COVID-19 global pandemic is an unprecedented challenge, which can cause increased worry, stress, anxiety, and confusion for students and adults. During this time of Distance Learning, school counselors, psychologists, social workers and multicultural liaisons are available as resources to families.
We are celebrating St. Louis Park as we begin the 2019-20 school year! A special thanks to 2015 graduate Malik Augustus, who shared his voice to help us tell the story of how this community continues to put its Children First.
