St. Louis Park Public Schools will offer free breakfast and lunch grab-and-go bag meals for children 18 and under between June 8 and August 21 this summer. No registration is required. Meals will include a protein, a grain, a fruit, a vegetable, and a beverage. Meals can be picked up Monday through Wednesday at three different locations.
The Peter Hobart Elementary School building will be closed for construction beginning Monday, May 18 through mid to late-August. Distance Learning will continue through June 4. The COVID-19 global pandemic is an unprecedented challenge, which can cause increased worry, stress, anxiety, and confusion for students and adults. During this time of Distance Learning, school counselors, psychologists, social workers and multicultural liaisons are available as resources to families.

Free and Reduced Meal applications can be completed online through the District's new meal payment system, Wordware. Families received a letter from the School Nutrition Department in early August about how to navigate this new system. If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, a Free and Reduced Meals Information Packet and Application will be mailed to all District families the week of Aug. 12, 2019.
The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools voted in three motions to change the school start and end times for students beginning in the 2020-21 school year. The School Board voted unanimously to move forward with the Triangle Option which calls for a three-tier system (Tier 1 – Elementary Schools; Tier 2 – High School; and Tier 3 – Middle School).
