St. Louis Park Public Schools is seeking a principal to lead the high school beginning July 1, 2021. The position is posted and potential candidates are invited to visit the school district website at www.slpschools.org/HR to apply. The position closes February 24.
St. Louis Park High School will host a virtual Incoming 9th Grade Preview Night beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19. Interested families can register for this event by visiting www.slpenrollment.com. During this virtual event, students and families will be welcomed by school leaders and participate in breakout rooms to learn more about St. Louis Park High School.
St. Louis Park Middle School will host a virtual Middle School incoming 6th Grade Information Night beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21. Interested families can register for this event by visiting www.slpenrollment.com. During this virtual event, students and families will be welcomed by school leaders, receive details about online registration, and participate in breakout rooms to learn more about St. Louis Park Middle School.
The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools approved changes to the District’s Safe Learning Plan at a special meeting on Tuesday, December 22. District Administration will continue to monitor COVID-19 case counts in Hennepin County and locally in St. Louis Park, all safe learning model considerations, as well as guidance from state officials, and will consider updates to the District’s Safe Learning Plan when appropriate.
The School Board approved the 2021-22 School Calendar at its December 14, 2020 Business Meeting. A one-page 2021-22 At a Glance Calendar is available for download. Stakeholders are reminded that the most updated information regarding calendars is available on the district website at www.slpschools.org/calendars.
As a part of the process to hear stakeholder perspectives, Superintendent Osei will be hosting Listening Sessions over the course of this school year for students, parents/guardians, and staff to better understand the impact of the implementation of the District's educational delivery models.
