The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools voted to make changes to the District’s Safe Learning Plan at its Monday, November 9 meeting. The changes include a move to distance learning for Middle School and High School students on November 16, and a change to distance learning for early learning and elementary students on November 23.

As the District begins to transition back to the distance learning model, free meals will continue to be available to students and families. The District will continue to utilize the six school sites as grab-and-go pickup locations on Mondays and Wednesdays between 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Construction is now complete on the South side of the Middle School, including a remodeled Media Center, seven new classrooms fitted for next-century learning, student gathering spaces, and a new second floor hallway that links the existing East and West hallways. The COVID-19 global pandemic is an unprecedented challenge, which can cause increased worry, stress, anxiety, and confusion for students and adults. During this time of Distance Learning, school counselors, psychologists, social workers and multicultural liaisons are available as resources to families.
