    Financial Advisory Committee Charter
     
    Purpose: To advise administration and the school board on economic and school finance issues and to build community trust in school district finances. 
     
    Members (20 members in total): 
    • Facilitator, Director of Business Services (1)
    • Assistant Director of Finance (1)
    • Teachers/other staff members (up to 4)
    • Principal (up to 2)
    • Community members (up to 12)

    Preliminary Fiscal Year 2020 Meeting Schedule (Thursday mornings, 8 a.m. - times subject to change to meet needs of the majority of membership)

    October 24, 2019 | Preliminary pay 2020 levy, preliminary FY 2019 year-end
    November 14, 2019 | FY 2021 budget parameters
    December 12, 2019 | FY 2019 audit report; enrollment projections
    January 16, 2020 | FY 2020 mid year update; FY 2021 budget
    February 13, 2020 | FY 2021 budget; prepare for sdchool board presentation
    March 19, 2020 | Wrap-up meeting
