Public Feedback Opportunities

  • During the month of February, District leaders will be gathering feedback from stakeholders regarding the four options. The Project team will then meet again in March and put forth a recommendation for the School Board to consider at their two regularly scheduled March meetings.

The District has created several ways for stakeholders to give feedback regarding these four proposed options.

There will be a general public meeting on Thursday, February 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. in High School room C350. This meeting will also be broadcast on Facebook Live.

There will be a Twitter Town Hall held on Thursday, February 28 from 7-8:30 p.m. where stakeholders can provide feedback and ask questions of district leaders by using the hashtag #SLPStartTimes

Stakeholders can also participate in a Thoughtexchange by going online to Thoughtexchange is a new community engagement tool that allows stakeholders to share thoughts, feedback, and ideas in an open-ended, confidential, and easy-to-use digital environment. The exchange for feedback on the start-end times proposed options will be open from February 14-27.
