Health Services
The mission of Health Services is to create and sustain a school health system that promotes and supports student achievement, health and well being.
The model of health services in St. Louis Park Public Schools uses a combination of Licensed School Nurses (LSN) and Health Aides. Health Aides serve as school nurse extenders by supporting the nurse in the health office performing health office clerical functions, caring for ill and injured students, and carrying out delegated nursing activities performed under the LSN’s license (such as giving medications and/or nursing procedures).

Provides first aid to students and staff; Administers medication (under the direction of the LSN); Assists with vision screening; Processes immunization records; Maintains Health Records
