The St. Louis Park Public Schools Department of School Nutrition strives to ensure that each student receives healthy, nutritious, and affordable meals from professional and friendly staff.
We know that when kids eat well, they are better learners and are more attentive in class. Our goal at St. Louis Park Public Schools is to serve our students, teachers, district, and community members a well-balanced, plant-strong diet. Apply for Educational Benefits (Free & Reduced Priced Meals)
We encourage all families to fill out an application for educational benefits for the 2024-25 school year.
It is important for families to complete the Application for Educational Benefits because families can qualify for additional benefits such as:
- Advanced Placement (AP) Tests for potential college course credit
- College Application Fees
- Internet Access
- Sports & Activities Fees
How to Apply
The application can be filled out in a number of different ways including online through your Wordware or PowerSchool account, or by filling out a paper copy.

Minnesota Free School Meals Program
The Minnesota Free School Meals program provides state reimbursement to schools that participate in the National School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program. Our schools already offer healthy meals each day. All in-person students can get one breakfast and one lunch Free of charge while at school - no application is required.
What is not included in the Minnesota Free School Meals Program?
- Single item purchases. Some examples include:
- A second carton of Milk
- Snack Items
- Second Entree
- A Second Breakfast or a Second Lunch
- Ala carte Items
For your student to purchase these items families should open an account through Wordware/Edutrak or PowerSchool and deposit funds into the student’s meal account.
