e-Learning
E-Learning days ensure that teaching and learning stay on track, even when weather forces school closures. On these days, St. Louis Park Public Schools teachers will send materials home ahead of time, post assignments online, and hold dedicated office hours to support students with their learning needs remotely.
E-Learning Day Guidelines:
- Teachers will post lessons by 9:30 a.m. through the Schoology Learning Management System.
- Teachers will be available online via email, phone, or Schoology from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Necessary information, including teacher contact details, will be shared via Schoology and email. Teachers providing a phone number will post it on Schoology.
Student Support:
- Students or parents may leave messages for teachers, who will respond promptly to questions.

The 2018 Legislature amended the Length of School Year; Hours of Instruction (Minn. Stat. § 120A.41) to include the option of a school district using e-Learning days due to inclement weather. St. Louis Park Public Schools e-Learning plan allows schools to minimize the impact of loss of learning for our secondary students when inclement weather leads to school closures. According to Statue, schools can use up to five e-learning days in one school year.
