St. Louis Park Public Schools is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Summer Food Service Program. Free meals that meet the nutritional standards established by the USDA will be provided to all children, ages birth to 18.
May 10, 2017 – Astein Osei has been selected to be the next Superintendent of St. Louis Park Public Schools pending successful contract negotiations. The School Board was unanimous in their selection of Osei. School Board Chair Jim Yarosh said, “The School Board is energized and excited about the future of the District. Mr. Osei will build on a really terrific foundation.”
The purpose of St. Louis Park Public Schools Title I program is to provide opportunities to support children in the basic skills areas. The support instruction is to ensure the success of each learner as set forth in the January 2001 Title I Act, "No Child Left Behind."
St. Louis Park Public Schools has announced a new environmental camp partnership for fifth graders with Camp Ihduhapi. Beginning in the fall of 2017, fifth graders from Aquila, Park Spanish Immersion, Peter Hobart, and Susan Lindgren will attend two days of camp, with two days of related curriculum in between. Students will be bussed to and from camp and there will be no overnight stay involved in this new camp format.
