Boys Basketball

Attention Players and Parents:

Tryouts for the 2022-2023 Boys Basketball season will begin on Monday, November 21st.  

We are anticipating a large number of players trying out for each team this year. Players need to be fully registered and practicing by the first day to give themselves the best opportunity to make a team.  

All players need to be fully registered by Wednesday, November 16th. You will not be able to tryout if you are not registered. Registration requires a current sports qualifying physical is on file with the school and the participation fee is paid.

The Boys Basketball Program consists of the following five teams:
Varsity and JV:

JV/Varsity tryouts and practices will run from 6:30am-8:15am in the main gym.

All Juniors and Seniors will tryout for the JV/Varsity teams.

JV/V will consist of approximately 18 players combined. 

10^th Grade:

10^th grade tryouts and practices will run from 3:30-5:30 in activity center.

All 10^th graders will tryout for the 10^th grade team unless approached by Coach Breitenbucher prior to tryouts.

The 10^th grade team will consist of approximately 10 players.

 
9^th Grade A and B:
 

9^th grade tryouts and practices will run from 3:30-5:30 in activity center.

All 9^th graders will try out for the 9^th grade teams unless approached by Coach Breitenbucher prior to tryouts.

The two 9^th grade teams will consist of approximately 10 players per team.

Each 9^th grade player who makes a team will be expected to purchase a uniform for $60. Players will then keep their purchased 9^th grade uniform to wear as a practice uniform for the remainder of their time in our basketball program.
