The St. Louis Park School Board has selected four semi-finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position. The semi-finalists are:
- Dr. Willie Barney, Instructional Leadership Director (Associate Superintendent), Davenport Community School District, IA
- Dr. Carlondrea Hines, Associate Superintendent, Eden Prairie Schools, MN
- Dr. Jenna Mitchler, Assistant Superintendent, Bloomington Public Schools, MN
- Dr. Teri Staloch, former Superintendent, Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools, currently Administrative Licensure Coordinator at the U of M and educational consultant with SitelogIQ and PartnerED, MN
The semi-finalists were selected from a pool of 25 applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as survey input provided by St. Louis Park Public Schools stakeholders.
The school board has scheduled interviews for the semi-finalists beginning at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, and continuing at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024.
All interviews will be held at Central Community Center (6300 Walker Street) in Room 21 and are open to the public.

Key Dates
- Feb. 21: School board determined semi-finalists and finalized interview questions

- March 2: Community Q&A with finalists, 1-5pm at Central Community Center - ASL, Somali, and Spanish interpreters available
- March 13: Second round of interviews and selection of the lone finalist, 3:30-7:30pm at Central Community Center
- March 26: Board approves the employment contract

- Semi-finalist interviews: The semi-finalist interviews and deliberations (Feb. 28 and March 1) are open to the public, however, they will not be livestreamed to preserve the confidentiality of questions. The interviews of candidates who are selected as finalists will be posted on Youtube for 30 days.
- Format for community Q&A with finalists: A moderator will read questions from community members. Community members can submit questions in advance (a link will be provided to staff and families once the form is created) or submit questions in person. A team of three, including a student, will review questions
- Building tours: Finalists will participate in school building tours on March 13 prior to their school board interview.
- Finalist interviews: The finalist interviews and deliberations on March 13 will be public, live-streamed and posted on Youtube for 30 days.
