Patricia Magnuson, Director of Business Services for St. Louis Park Public Schools, has been honored with the 2025 MASBO Outstanding Lifetime Contribution Award – one of the highest recognitions given by the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials. This prestigious award celebrates her exceptional leadership, dedicated service and lasting impact in the field of school finance.

One of Patricia’s standout contributions is her leadership of the district’s Finance Advisory Committee (FAC), a group that unites parents, staff and community members to offer input on financial matters and build public trust. Thanks to her guidance, the FAC has played a key role in enhancing community engagement and shaping thoughtful, transparent fiscal planning. She also launched districtwide budget manager meetings – giving school leaders and administrators a deeper understanding of financial operations and helping align school-level decision-making with district goals.
