Abby Lugo of St. Louis Park High School received an Educator of Excellence Award at BestPrep’s Annual Luncheon event on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.

This year, the Educator of Excellence Awards were given to 16 valuable educators from Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota schools who have played a vital role in BestPrep’s program delivery and success.

Lugo has used multiple BestPrep programs in her classroom. “[BestPrep’s] ability and resources to help connect the real world to my classroom has opened doors and introduced a world of possibilities for students and I am so grateful for everything they continue to do for us,” said Lugo.

BestPrep’s Annual Luncheon is a yearly event that showcases its educational programs with special recognition for those students, teachers, and volunteers whose efforts have been outstanding during the last few years. Nearly 500 guests were in attendance.
