School supply lists for the 2019-20 school year are now posted. For the fourth year in a row, PSI parents can order their child's grade level school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year with SchoolToolBox.com. It’s quick and convenient online ordering for parents, and 5% of all purchases come back to benefit the PSI PTO.
Members of the Park Spanish Immersion School community gathered at the Central Community Center location on Monday, May 20 for a Farewell Open House Celebration. Current students gave tours to attendees, and the program featured several speakers including current Principal Dr. Corey Maslowski, Mayor Jake Spano, School Board Chair Nancy Gores, Superintendent Astein Osei, and current PTO Co-Chair Karen McCarren.
Building renovations continue and site work is underway at the Cedar Manor School site in preparation for Park Spanish Immersion Elementary School. This week, brush and trees near the south side of the pond, will be removed to construct the storm water management system which has been designed to meet, or exceed, all requirements of the Minnehaha Watershed District and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools voted in three motions to change the school start and end times for students beginning in the 2020-21 school year. The School Board voted unanimously to move forward with the Triangle Option which calls for a three-tier system (Tier 1 – Elementary Schools; Tier 2 – High School; and Tier 3 – Middle School).
