  • MSHSL Approves Football and Volleyball for Fall Competition; Registration Now Open

    The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Board of Directors voted to approve high school football and volleyball competition during the fall season at its Monday, September 21 meeting. Based on the decision, football and volleyball teams will be able to begin practicing on Monday, September 28. Registration for these two high school sports is now open on www.gopark.org.

  • Lieutenant Governor Flanagan and State Rep. Youakim Visit St. Louis Park High School to Pack Free Meals for Students

    Lieutenant Governor and 1997 St. Louis Park High School graduate Peggy Flanagan and State Representative Cheryl Youakim made a visit to St. Louis Park High School on Thursday, Sept. 17 to learn about the District's free meals program and to help pack meals for students.

  • Juniors to Take PSAT on October 14

    Students in 11th grade will have the opportunity to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14 at 8:15 a.m. The test venue at the High School is yet to be determined. Registration will begin on Friday, Sept. 25.

  • Five St. Louis Park High School Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

    Five St. Louis Park High School seniors have recently been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program as National Merit Semifinalists. The five seniors are Thorwald Anderson, Daniel Goldenberg, Gabriel Kaplan, Dahlia Krebs, and Joshua Krueger. They are among 288 students from Minnesota and approximately 16,000 students from across the country to be named semifinalists this year.

  • FREE Meals for Kids During Distance Learning; Available at Six Sites on Mondays and Wednesdays

    While the District is in a distance learning educational delivery model, students and families will be able to pick up FREE MEALS (breakfast and lunch) at any of the six schools on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The District will also drop-off meals to seven St. Louis Park apartment complexes in designated neighborhoods, between 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

    Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students to earn both high school and college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college-level, nonsectarian courses at eligible participating postsecondary institutions.
