District Seeks Stakeholders for Advisory Committees

Are you a stakeholder of St. Louis Park Public Schools who is looking to make a difference and be involved in the school district? The District is currently accepting applications from stakeholders for the Financial Advisory and Wellness Policy committees.

Financial Advisory Committee

Purpose: To advise administration and the school board on economic and school finance issues and to build community trust in school district finances.

Membership: Facilitator; Director of Business Services (1); Assistant Director of Finance (1); Teachers/Staff Members (up to 4); Principals (up to 2); Community Members (up to 12)

2019-20 Meeting Schedule: October 24, November 14, December 12, January 16, February 12, March 19

Wellness Policy Committee

Purpose: To advise district administration regarding implementation of the Wellness Policy in compliance with USDA guidelines and to build community trust in the district's efforts to establish a school environment that promotes student health, wellbeing and ability to learn.

Membership: Facilitator; Director of Business Services/Director of Curriculum & Instruction (2); Manager of School Nutrition (1); School Nutrition Staff (1); Teachers (up to 4); Principals (up to 2); Community Members (up to 10)

2019-20 Meeting Schedule: September 18, October 30, November 20, January 29, February 26, March 25
