Jessica Gust Named Minnesota Strength Coach of the Year

St. Louis Park High School teacher and Strength and Conditioning Coach Jessica Gust has been named the Minnesota Strength Coach of the Year by the National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA).

This award is given annually to a high school strength and conditioning coach in recognition for his or her coaching achievements and passion for the profession. The State Coach of the Year is selected from among the top coaches across each state and receives an award certificate and recognition at the NHSSCA National Conference Awards Dinner in Minneapolis in mid-June.

Gust has taught science at St. Louis Park High School for 16 years and has served as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past 11 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hamline University and a master’s degree in applied kinesiology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
