According to the plan, experts at the Departments of Health and Education will partner with local school districts to help determine which learning model they should use to start the school year.
For the health and safety of all students, staff, and visitors, and per the Executive Order of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, St. Louis Park Public Schools asks everyone to wear a face covering inside all schools and district buildings. As I write my last message for the 2019-2020 school year, I have reflected on what we’ve all experienced over these last few months. It was a journey that none of us expected or planned. COVID-19 changed our lives very quickly, and we all adapted as best we could giving each other grace as we charged forward. Families, you were amazing and supported your students the best you knew how, often with limited time and/or resources. The school team and I cannot thank you enough for partnering with us.
The Susan Lindgren Elementary School building will be closed for construction beginning Monday, May 18 through mid to late-August. Distance Learning will continue through June 4. Please note that the phone and fax machines will not be monitored during this time of construction. Please click "Read More" for contact information during construction.
The COVID-19 global pandemic is an unprecedented challenge, which can cause increased worry, stress, anxiety, and confusion for students and adults. During this time of Distance Learning, school counselors, psychologists, social workers and multicultural liaisons are available as resources to families.
St. Louis Park Public Schools are currently closed until at least May 4 under an Executive Order issued by Governor Tim Walz in response to the COVID-19 health crisis. The Enrollment Center at St. Louis Park Public Schools is here to assist your family with Kindergarten Registration for this fall’s class of 2033! We are adapting our work to continue to assist you with registration during this time of social distancing.
