Join us from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 23rd at St. Louis Park Middle School for Family Fun Night! This event is free! Some of the activities include a pizza dinner, virtual reality with REM5VR, Henna Tattoos, St. Louis Park Lacrosse Association, crazy hair, DJ and dancing, winter art project led by Heartfelt, and board games.
I hope to see you all Thursday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for Family Fun Night! So many super fun and free activities are being offered. Families don't forget there is also a free pizza dinner provided for all! I hope to see you all Thursday night at the St. Louis Park Middle School!
Thanks to a generous grant from Disney and support from the Hennepin Theater Trust, Susan Lindgren students in grades 2-5 will have an opportunity to participate in a free and fun theater experience, called “Spotlight on Susan Lindgren.” Participating students will present Disney’s Frozen Kids in May.

Snow has arrived in Minnesota. Are you prepared for a school closing, late start or early dismissal due to bad weather? St. Louis Park Public Schools will attempt to make a decision about a late start or school closing by 5:30 a.m. Early dismissals and decisions regarding after-school and evening athletics, events, and activities will be made by 2 p.m.
Are you a parent or guardian of a child who will start Kindergarten in the Fall of 2020 who is looking to learn more about St. Louis Park's elementary schools? Beginning in the Fall of 2019, each of the four elementary schools will offer parents/guardians the opportunity to tour their neighborhood school and Park Spanish Immersion School.

Free and Reduced Meal applications can be completed online through the District's new meal payment system, Wordware. Families received a letter from the School Nutrition Department in early August about how to navigate this new system. If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, a Free and Reduced Meals Information Packet and Application will be mailed to all District families the week of Aug. 12, 2019.
The School Board for St. Louis Park Public Schools voted in three motions to change the school start and end times for students beginning in the 2020-21 school year. The School Board voted unanimously to move forward with the Triangle Option which calls for a three-tier system (Tier 1 – Elementary Schools; Tier 2 – High School; and Tier 3 – Middle School).
