Please Welcome Josiah Nebo, Executive Director of Business Services
It is with mixed emotion that we announce Executive Director Patricia Magnuson retired on June 30. She has spent 8 years in the District, with many notable accomplishments, including her leadership of the Finance Advisory Committee, mentorship of school business professionals, and recipient of the MASBO Lifetime Achievement Award.
This year, Patricia has been guiding and preparing the district for her departure. She has worked diligently to prepare her team, and she has taken leadership in the 2026 referendum. Though we wish her great joy in retirement, she will be missed.
After a rigorous search, Josiah Nebo was named the Executive Director of Business Services for St. Louis Park Public Schools. Josiah joined the District as the Director of Business Services in 2024. Very quickly, he took leadership in the implementation of various business and operational processes and oversaw the district budget, all while maintaining strong financial stewardship.
Josiah has a wealth of knowledge and experience from commercial real estate to banking, but most notably, he has previous experience working as an internal auditor for Minneapolis Public Schools. His expertise and attention to detail will continue to serve as an asset to our school community.
Josiah shared eagerness stating, “I am excited about the opportunity to continue serving the district in this expanded leadership role and to build upon the strong financial stewardship that has supported St. Louis Park’s mission and strategic priorities.”
Josiah began as Executive Director of Business Services on July 1, 2026. We look forward to welcoming Josiah in this new capacity. Please congratulate him and welcome him to this new opportunity!
