Three SLP students selected as 4-Year Wallin Scholars

Three SLP students selected as 4-Year Wallin Scholars

Our students are reaching new heights. Three St. Louis Park High School seniors were selected from among thousands of applicants across the Twin Cities to receive a 4-Year Wallin Scholarship.

This highly competitive award recognizes students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to their communities, and it covers four years of college tuition, significantly easing the financial burden of higher education.

For our students, this scholarship opens doors to their future. “It has created opportunities for me to pursue my path in engineering,” one student said.

For others, the scholarship is both practical and deeply personal. “As a first-generation immigrant from a low-income household, receiving this scholarship has given me hope and reassurance that I will have financial support over the next four years.”

Beyond academics, all three students have balanced rigorous coursework with meaningful involvement in school and community activities.  Each student credits motivation, purpose, and support systems for their success.

“I stay focused by reminding myself of the privilege of this education and my parents’ sacrifices to create better opportunities for me. It motivates me to give back and make their sacrifices worthwhile,” a student added.

The Wallin Education Partners Scholarship considers GPA, financial need, character, leadership, and a thoughtful application essay, making this recognition a true testament to each student’s dedication and future promise.
